We love it when local Minnesota people and places get noticed!
Today’s Bing homepage features a great aerial photo of a driver training course here in the Twin Cities by Richard Hamilton Smith, a local Minnesota photographer.

So where is this driver training course?
There was no link or mention as to where this course was located so I had to do some, well, searching. It turns out that it is right here in the Twin Cities at the Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount.
If you look at this map sideways, and focus on the circle in the middle, you will see it.
Google Maps Confirms It
Once again you’ll have to look at this map sideways, and focus on the circle in the middle, to see it.
Bing Maps Does Not
Bing’s Maps product is just not as fully developed as Google’s. Their formatting and depth of info are just more reasons why I’m a big fan of Google Maps.
Rent The Driving Track
In what I found to be an interesting tidbit, you can rent the DCTC’s Decision Driving Range employee roadway training. Being that I’m a partner at a Search Marketing Agency, I can’t see this coming in handy for us, but you never know. 🙂

Great photo Richard!
Richard’s Flash Website – Ironic?
In what could only be considered irony to a search marketer, for the website of a photographer who’s work was featured on the homepage of a search engine, Richard’s website is all in flash.
However the fully loaded version is much more appealing. 🙂
Cheers!
